The business was established in 1997 by Kerryn Madsen-Pietsch, Australian creative founder/director, professional visual artist & co-owner, in partnership with her indigenous husband Clifford Madsen, also an artist in wood sculpture and painting, and from the Far North Queensland Kuku Yalangi rainforest Aboriginal language group.
